Roseman Bridge

Built in 1883 by Benton Jones and measures 107 feet in length and still standing in it's original location over the Middle River approximately 7 miles SW of Winterset. - Renovated in 1992 at a cost of $152,515.

Roseman is probably the most famous of all bridges due to the movie, The Bridges of Madison County. - In the movie, Robert Kincaid stops at Francesca's house to ask for directions so that he can photograph the bridge. - Later, she leaves him a note pinned to the bridge and invites him to dinner.
